The Schiara (ital.Monte Schiara) is a mountain in the range Dolomiti Bellunesi in Dolomites of northern Italy, Near the town of Belluno. approximately 50 miles north of Venice. It s highest peak of massif, Schiara has an elevation of 2565 metres.

[edit] Huts and bivouacs

  • Rifugio 7° Alpini (1491 m)
    Mountain hut finds under the southern wall (900 meters) of Monte Schiara, at the close lowlands Val d'Ardo. Capacity is 50 beds, open be by halves June to the end September. Proprietor is CAI. On build - up of Mountain hut was partake seventh regiment mountain troop Alpini. From here rises title of Mountain hut.
