Description

Schooner 'Thomas W. Lawson'. The ship was lost on 1907-12-14 near the Scilly Isles Hellweather's Reef, killing 16 of her 18 crew and causing a first major case of oil pollution. This picture is said to have been taken during her maiden voyage. See en:Thomas W. Lawson (ship) and de:Thomas W. Lawson.
