Guidelines for my talk page:
If you have a query about my vandalism reverts, please see this FAQ before you comment on this page.
If I haven't edited in twenty-four hours, please consult a user on my "helpful people" list.
  • Remember to create a new section for each new topic (you can do this by pressing the '+' link or the "edit" next to "Sceptre's talk page"), and remember to sign your posts with ~~~~.
  • If you think I've made a mistake in reverting, revert it back and feel free to remove the warning. Please refrain from posting here - doing so creates clutter and means I have to archive my talk page faster than I should.
  • Due to a long-standing conflict I entered myself in two years ago, I will not mediate disputes on my page. I will give advice, but it is nonbinding.
  • I should respond within 24 hours, if I feel there is a need to respond, and unless you have an openly stated policy on conversation, or request for me to reply here, I will reply on your page.
  • Any questions about the bot should mention the word "bot" in the level header, and any requests for the bot should go to bot request subpage.
  • Any messages should be in English, and as clear and as legible as possible. As long as I know what you're saying to me, it's okay.
  • If you have a request for me, please be aware that, unless dictated by policy or behavioural guideline, a member of the Arbitration Committee or Wikimedia Foundation (either paid employee or advisory board), or Jimbo Wales, I am not bound by your request, but will take it into consideration.
  • Please remain civil at all times, and please, under any circumstances, do not refer to me as a Nazi - I'm much more liberal than that.
  • Please do not put substituted warnings on my talk page - I've been a member of Wikipedia for nearly three years and I was an admin for seven months, so you think of a warning, I've blocked for it, so I do know most of our policies. An exception to this is image warnings, as they serve to be informative too.
  • The page will be archived after 40 headings.
  • I reserve the right to remove any threads or revert any edits that I perceive to be in bad faith.
Violations of these guidelines may result in your post being removed or ignored.

Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Nathanrdotcom

Hello,

An Arbitration case involving you has been opened: Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Nathanrdotcom. The case will be considered privately by the committee. Any evidence you wish to present should be e-mailed directly to one of the Arbitrators.

On behalf of the Arbitration Committee, Thatcher131 15:35, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Why leave?

If you leave, you're just letting those ED virgins win by driving you off. So what if they created a page pointing various stupid mistakes mistakes you made in the past? It's not like most of the people who edit that site are actually in any position to be criticizing you. (Seriously, if they're willing to spend eight hours a day creating attack pages on people who they claim are so unworthy of their time, then what does that say about the quality of their lives?) Just ignore them and don't give them the satisfaction of thinking that they've accomplished something by letting them drive you away.--Azer Red Si? 20:20, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Strong second. I'm not going to beg you to come back like some people do, Will, but I do ask you to please do a minor reconsidering. We need you. —  $PЯINGrαgђ  03:28, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Thank you

[1] for the above comment made (near the barnstar). That comment, despite this day being the (third) worst day of my life, made it better by hearing you say that. That whole stupid thing with Nathan and everything made me forget about one of my best wiki-friends. semper fiMoe 05:40, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Farewell

We did not know one another, but I wish you all the best of luck - God bless/good luck (if you don't like religion.) We will miss you. Anthonycfc [TC] 16:35, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Allow me to add my own warm words of welcome to the flood that is sure to follow. Glad to see that you're hangin' around. =) – Lantoka (talk) 04:32, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

thanks for the barnstar

Hi Will, thanks for the barnstar, but really, my words were the least I could do. I would hope that any other person would try to offer some comfort to someone in the same situation.

I forgot to say this earlier, but I'm glad to see that you're back. So you like Tolkien too... --Kyoko 13:09, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi, sorry for the delay. I'm busy trying to adapt things for my new account at Simple Wikipedia. I've read The Hobbit and the LOTR trilogy many many times. I think I first read them when I was about 10 or 12. I have never been able to read The Silmarillion. I've tried twice and failed miserably. --Kyoko 13:52, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

And likewise: thank you Will--appreciate it.  :) Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 16:25, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Welcome back to Wikipedia!!

I go on vacation for three days and this is what happens? Good job!! I'll be emailing you ASAP.--CJ King 16:33, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Barnstar

Thanks for the Barnstar. On a different note, have you noticed a banner that says "You have new messages" as the top of the screen? I saw one on the main page when I logged in. I know that there were discussions ongoing about those banners on AN. Is this a new feature or something I need to report to AN? Ripberger 20:12, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

I think the discussion was about people making them into joke banners. Since I haven't received any talk messages, I didn't know about the new messages banner. False alarm. Thanks. Ripberger 20:19, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

For all the barnstars

A big heart for you, for having a big heart. :) —  $PЯINGrαgђ  16:02, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Seconded, in spades hearts. Thankyou for the barnstar, and for your support of the community. Your edits mean a lot. Kind regards, Dfrg.msc 20:49, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Thirded, and thanks again. BTW, I would never have associated "!!!" with a band, kudos to your knowledge of music. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tachikoma (talkcontribs) 21:05, 21 February 2007 (UTC).
Can things be fourthed? Well, they are now. It's really nice of you to give the barnstars out. -- Natalya 12:15, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

Re: Barnstar

Wow, my second barnstar ever... right after the first one. Thanks a lot man, and again, welcome back. =) – Lantoka (talk) 21:11, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the Barnstar!

Thanks

Thanks for the talk page cleanup, dude - I have to get a new userpage design, this one's a tad impractical right now :) I'll fix it up when I have a spare minute later on. Thanks, once again! – riana_dzasta 23:12, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

thanks for the rose

Hi Will, thanks for the rose. I'm just very worried about a number of people right now. I'm not really the one who needs the support, though. Thanks again. --Kyoko 12:58, 23 February 2007 (UTC), amended 14:37, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, thanks for thinking about me. I do have concerns about my own life, but at least they're not unexpected shocks like losing someone you love or losing your job. Everyone has their own problems, and right now, my problems aren't as urgent as others. Thanks for caring, though. --Kyoko 21:40, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

Like it says - thanks Will - no need of course. I came across it while wandering around (<g>) but life can be so hard. In the end people are so important and sometime we seem to forget that (partly the reason why I am elsewhere much of the time these days). I hope life goes well for you - take care --Herby talk thyme 09:39, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

Re: Fulsome prison

Hahaha, glad I'm not the only one who noticed. ;) Yeah, reverted all and blocked indef. Probably won't be the last we see of him, but we can keep an eye out. – Luna Santin (talk) 00:16, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Ah -- you're probably more familiar with the history on that than I am. I figure it's not terribly important who it is, either way (not immediately, anyway), so just block and watch for more. But, thanks for keeping an eye out. – Luna Santin (talk) 00:21, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

I just realised

that your 12000th edit was on my 19th birthday. :) (As you can tell, I'm a bit bored. But I'm also on my way to bed.) —  $PЯINGrαgђ  01:17, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, :D Actually, in Pacific time, it was March 2nd…my dad's birthday. —  $PЯINGrαgђ  22:21, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Awesome! A barnstar for being nice! What's next, being paid to not shoot people? ;) (Also: don't let the ills of life get you down. Only you can stress yourself out.) Signed, your friendly neighborhood MessedRocker. 05:17, 25 February 2007 (UTC)

Barnstar

Thank you! Well, wait 'till AndonicO and the rest of my friends hear about this! 2 barnstars in 1 day! I really wasn't expecting a barnstar for being nice, but I guess i will next time. :-) RyGuy 20:05, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks Will. Tell me on the one-year anniversery and I shall send you a special greeting :) Speaking of worst days, I have three of them, and they are all in February, lol. Did I mention how glad I am that it's March :) — Moe 13:04, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
