- Guidelines for my talk page:
If I haven't edited in twenty-four hours, please consult a user on my "helpful people" list.
- Remember to create a new section for each new topic (you can do this by pressing the '+' link or the "edit" next to "Sceptre's talk page"), and remember to sign your posts with ~~~~.
- If you think I've made a mistake in reverting, revert it back and feel free to remove the warning. Please refrain from posting here - doing so creates clutter and means I have to archive my talk page faster than I should.
- Due to a long-standing conflict I entered myself in two years ago, I will not mediate disputes on my page. I will give advice, but it is nonbinding.
- I should respond within 24 hours, if I feel there is a need to respond, and unless you have an openly stated policy on conversation, or request for me to reply here, I will reply on your page.
- Any questions about the bot should mention the word "bot" in the level header, and any requests for the bot should go to bot request subpage.
- Any messages should be in English, and as clear and as legible as possible. As long as I know what you're saying to me, it's okay.
- If you have a request for me, please be aware that, unless dictated by policy or behavioural guideline, a member of the Arbitration Committee or Wikimedia Foundation (either paid employee or advisory board), or Jimbo Wales, I am not bound by your request, but will take it into consideration.
- Please remain civil at all times, and please, under any circumstances, do not refer to me as a Nazi - I'm much more liberal than that.
- Please do not put substituted warnings on my talk page - I've been a member of Wikipedia for nearly three years and I was an admin for seven months, so you think of a warning, I've blocked for it, so I do know most of our policies. An exception to this is image warnings, as they serve to be informative too.
- The page will be archived after 40 headings.
- I reserve the right to remove any threads or revert any edits that I perceive to be in bad faith.
- Violations of these guidelines may result in your post being removed or ignored.

CorbinSimpson's Request for Adminship
Yep, that's right, a whole week!
Well, it actually comes from when My brother and I were sending an email to someone (I can't remember what it was about, but it was pretty serious...), and I said we should sign off with a humerous name.
Me:"Sergeat something..." My brother: "What?"
Me: (casting around and seeing a lever arch file with the word 'Snopake' on it) "Sergeant Snopake..."
And then it stuck! Where does 'Sceptre' come from? Sergeant Snopake 22:07, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, we (that is, my family and I) love TinTin, too! Infact, we even got a fox terrier because of Snowy. Sergeant Snopake 09:50, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- I wish he had, he might not have tried to kill everything so often! Really, he was such an adorable dog, but it was like he was schizophrenic. He'd be lovely one minute, the next, he'd just turn on you. The vets thought he had a brain tumor, and we had to put him down just before he was a year old. Sergeant Snopake 10:06, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, it usually has that effect. There's just nothing you can really say, is there? Sergeant Snopake 10:25, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Which Halifax road? I know many. If it's the one I'm thinking of, that would be weird. Oh, and my house was built in the 1730's, so there! You created Surprise? I was going to do that, I love Paul Simon! I even ordered the album from America early, and it was bloody expensive! Sergeant Snopake 13:28, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I don't think the road I'm thinking of is called 'Halifax'. I think it just occaisonally gets called Halifax because it has the Halifax Building Society on it. You know, I can walk down that road in my mind, and know exactly what it looks like in great detail, but I can't remember what it's called. <:( I'm an idiot. Sergeant Snopake 15:17, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- I live really near you! I used to live in West Yorkshire (I now live in East), and I was born in Rotherham! Awesome! Sergeant Snopake 16:30, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ha! I wish, I live Ripon (the whole of North Yorkshire, actually, especially Bedale)! We will be moving sometime relatively soon, but I'm not sure where or when. Please can we continue this conversation tommorow (if I can get on), because I'm allowed to have my own computer, but not my own internet connection till I'm 18, and my brother is using this and plans to use it for the rest of the day. I've just got on now, because he's doing a job he has to do (unloading the dishwasher), and as jobs are compulsory, he still got rights to use the laptop. Sorry! I'll speak to you tommorow! :) Sergeant Snopake 18:05, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, I'm back! Do you have siblings? Sometimes, they're fun. Sometimes, they're awful. So, have you lived in Yorkshire all your life? Do you have a Northern Accent? Oh, is it half-term for you, too? And why does your sig have your real name? are you tired of 'Sceptre'? That would be like, if I started putting my real name. Hmm. Stating the obvious again. Not a good sign... Sergeant Snopake 09:59, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- God, you were quick! I'm impressed. So, is it nice in Brighouse? Do you enjoy living there? Sergeant Snopake 10:12, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- God, I hate Chavs. Sergeant Snopake 10:16, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, fantastic! Sergeant Snopake 10:20, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- Ha! You live in Chav-area! So much for living on the better end. Doesn't save you from the chavs, does it? ;) Sergeant Snopake 10:25, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yo, 'Dawg', my server's been down since it started hailing over here, and I tried to tell you but I couldn't save my changes. It's back now, but the connection is very temperamental, (there are still many places I can't get to) and I will say only this; Intellect? You? That remains to be seen. Although, you dislike chavs, and you are an admin, so, I suppose, you must have something up there. ;) Sergeant Snopake 12:58, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

U2 can count. Right?
Well, erm, hi. :O I have no idea why I'm talking to you....I guess I am amyway. :P U2 says 'one two three fourteen' in Vertigo...they need to go back to, er, pre-preschool... Well, er, like I said, hi. You seem crazy enough. (No offense to you, that is) OreosTalkContribs 13:20, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
- I ish crazy. See? The ish isn't even English. And I talk to inanimate objects such as: CDs, cameras, pencils, binders, etc. Hey, you're from England/Britian/the U.K./I forget too, right? I wanna move there after California and Italy. Gwen Stefani has a house there somewhere...lucky....(I'm obsessed over GS for some odd reason :P) How come your siggy reads 'Will EAT'? I'll do better next time. :) However, he was already messing with the Nairobi Trio page for reasons unknown, he just accelerated it when I pointed out that not only is he a vandal, he also can't spell ("grammer"). Presumably his IP could be blocked. Wahkeenah 17:33, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Talk:List of Lost episodes
Hey there Sceptre,
As an administrator who has almost 10,000 edits I understand that you have been here in Wikipedia for a while and you know how it works. Would you please be kind enough to share your thoughts in Talk:List of Lost episodes#Put all the pictures back and Talk:List of Lost episodes#Outrage at Ed_g2s?
Thank you very much

Watching
Are you...watching me? Or Nathanrdotcom? STALKER!!!! Sergeant Snopake 12:18, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, didn't mean to offend! 'Stalk' to me is kind of common place, probably from watching too much Home and Away. Good old Zoey McAllister. Sergeant Snopake 12:31, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Admire
I know, I don't know what to do about it. If I had a heart of stone, I really would only have the users I admire (and I wouldn't have all my friends), but ever since Nathan put himself on the list (way back when it was like/admire), saying, "Well, I know you like me well enough to list me here, so I guess it's not too presumptuous to list myself", I really didn't want to kick him off, because I like him so much (even though it was just for users who weren't officially my friends). I think I'm just going to have to change the category. Sergeant Snopake 11:15, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Leaving
Oh, Will, you can't be thinking of leaving!! What happened? Surely it can't be as bad as you think? How did you make a mistake on the mailing list? Surely it can't be as bad as leaving standard? Oh, please, I must implore you, don't leave! Sergeant Snopake 16:02, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
-
- Please don't leave. You are clearly an excellent contributor and vandal fighter. I don't know what has happened, but don't let it compel you to leave. This project is bleeding admins right now. Incidentally, on a lighter and irrelevant note, I was about to request your help designing my userpage! Damn it. SoLando (Talk) 16:38, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi Sceptre. Just thought that you might like to know that I have warned Bttfpromo for his uncivil behaviour. As you can see from above, people still like you here, and you are respected as a user. It would be a great shame to lose you from this project. I hope that everything quiets down, and that yo feel that you can continue editting. If you need to talk about anything, please feel free to leave me a message. The Halo (talk) 16:41, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Geez you guys can't take a joke. If it wasn't obvious, it was a joke. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. Bttfpromo 00:09, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

- Ugh...I've never tried pepsi max twist (although I drink pepsi all the time), but I'll remember to steer clear of it. I've only been up for about an hour and a half, so I haven't done anything interesting, but yesterday, I found a slug in my kitchen. Usually, I don't mind, but this one was really huge, and when I took it out in a plastic bag, it started curling up in my hand. Sergeant Snopake 10:47, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I don't trust Beef Casseroles at the best of times, but certainly not one made by Scooby-Doo, God knows what he puts in them. Everyone thinks he's so innocent...And I suggest you go to the bathroom rather than use a bucket - you'll just have to clean it out later. Oh, but I really hope you feel better! :) Sergeant Snopake 11:56, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

A rouge admin has deleted the userbox page. You should do something. Sergeant Snopake 13:23, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I see that. But, he really did! I can't fing any proof of it now, and I just look like a wacko! Really, I saw the deletion log! He was leaving today, and he said they were derisive, and his name was doc something! I'm not crazy!! Sergeant Snopake 13:30, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
You mean Doc glasgow? He deleted the Civility Noticeboard with the reason of "fuck off". What a way to leave! If I left, it would just be delete all my stuff and go...not get all rouge about it (not that a mere user has the capacity to get rouge about anything). — Nathan (talk) 06:37, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

'Fraid not, cos I have to share this computer (stupid no internet connection till you're 18 rule...) but I can email you my email adress, if you like (I'd rather not put it here, any vandal could be watching). Sergeant Snopake 14:25, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

- No, I'm not as who should say abusing it, it won't do me any harm just this once. But it does make you very drowsy, so I'm going to sleep now. That and the fact that my cat, Dante, lies on this keyboard at night, making it near-impossible to write anything. Goodnight! Sergeant Snopake 21:56, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Abuse of admin power
You seem to have abused your admin tools . Please reconsider what you are up to. The first suggestion is to comunicate and to carfully folow policy. signed: Zeq. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.63.43.78 (talk • contribs) 21:01 2 Jun 2006
- Nope. not abuse. You were spamming people's talk pages to either delete/keep an article. People have been blocked for it before. Will (E@) T 20:18, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Vote stacking
If one user (as I can see above) has just been blocked for vote stacking, maybe this case also deserves attention? Pecher Talk 20:59, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- Holy crap. Given 48 hours. Zeq's being acting in bad faith all week, and this user is getting borderline disruptiveWill (E@) T 21:14, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
- There is nothing in WP:Spam that justify the block.
The policy is clear in allowing cross posting for votes and just require a clean-up:
"Clean up your mess. For example, after engaging in cross-posting to promote some election, be sure to remove those cross-posts after the election is complete. "
In any case, it is customary to first place a warnning instead of applying a block. If you would have done that I would stop. (only posted to 6-7 users anyhow)
See this which explain to what you should have doen (and should have known as admin):
You have acted against WP:Block by not placing a message on the talk page or on any other admin notice board , instead you unilatherly appliad a block.
Your behaviour was a mystory to me (you are after all just a 15 Yr old kid) until you wrote this "Zeq's being acting in bad faith all week" which mean you have an issue with my criticism and the content I dispute. So you have now reveled yourself to act against WP:AGF (you dispute my good faith in clear violation of the policy) and in addition, since you don't like my edits you have again violated WP:BLOCK#When_blocking_may_not_be_used. this is the biggest problem in what you have done
I am forced to edit using an anon IP since you have failed to comunicate with me on my talk page (the only place open to me while I blocked).
Looking at your contribution page I see that you think of yourself as somekinfd of a special police force going and blocking people left and right. let me suggest this: cool down or yo u risk loosing the tools you like so much. Now be civil and please unblock me. Despite all your misuse of power I will see this as a civil warnning not to spanm and will avoid that. Simple, honest, direct and polite communication is most often enough. signed by : Zeq editing from 85.65.186.191 10:14, 3 June 2006 (UTC) PS when this posted on my talk page (as well as twenty other user pages) and had inluded a image which I found distastfull I did not see any admin jumping up and down and crying : SPAM : User_talk:Zeq#Request_for_Editor_.2F_User_Page_Review

Just to let you know, I've unblocked Liftarn, see this discussion. It seems that SirIsaacBrock was misrepresenting Liftarn's actions, and by consensus is himself now blocked for a week for personal attacks. --bainer (talk) 01:17, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Your Block
Could you kindly give an explanation as to why you blocked me.. The reason you had given is bizare!! I had already apologized for my mistake and I had not known spamming is against wikipedia policy, I had not done anything wrong after the warning given to me by a fellow editor. So why did you have to block me? I am disappointed with the way you are using your admin priveleges.. Very disappointed.. Such behaviour by admins only gonna turn away good editors.. «₪Mÿš†íc₪» (T) 19:56, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Don't you think an indefinite block is a little harsh? The editor wasn't yet told that he will be blocked from Wikipedia, and usually for people who write nonsense articles a 24-hour-block seems like a fair first step. I'd advise you to reconsider. Grandmasterka 03:22, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
