A friend of mine was involved in a motorcycling accident a few days ago. From what I know, he's in intensive care right now, but the outlook is optimistic.

Sceptre's talk page
Archives
- Guidelines for my talk page:
If I haven't edited in twenty-four hours, please consult a user on my "helpful people" list.
- Remember to create a new section for each new topic (you can do this by pressing the '+' link or the "edit" next to "Sceptre's talk page"), and remember to sign your posts with ~~~~.
- If you think I've made a mistake in reverting, revert it back and feel free to remove the warning. Please refrain from posting here - doing so creates clutter and means I have to archive my talk page faster than I should.
- Due to a long-standing conflict I entered myself in two years ago, I will not mediate disputes on my page. I will give advice, but it is nonbinding.
- I should respond within 24 hours, if I feel there is a need to respond, and unless you have an openly stated policy on conversation, or request for me to reply here, I will reply on your page.
- Any questions about the bot should mention the word "bot" in the level header, and any requests for the bot should go to bot request subpage.
- Any messages should be in English, and as clear and as legible as possible. As long as I know what you're saying to me, it's okay.
- If you have a request for me, please be aware that, unless dictated by policy or behavioural guideline, a member of the Arbitration Committee or Wikimedia Foundation (either paid employee or advisory board), or Jimbo Wales, I am not bound by your request, but will take it into consideration.
- Please remain civil at all times, and please, under any circumstances, do not refer to me as a Nazi - I'm much more liberal than that.
- Please do not put substituted warnings on my talk page - I've been a member of Wikipedia for nearly three years and I was an admin for seven months, so you think of a warning, I've blocked for it, so I do know most of our policies. An exception to this is image warnings, as they serve to be informative too.
- The page will be archived after 40 headings.
- I reserve the right to remove any threads or revert any edits that I perceive to be in bad faith.
- Violations of these guidelines may result in your post being removed or ignored.
You tagged a film as WP:CSD#A7
I see from your talk page preamble that you've been around a long time, so I'll assume you know something I don't about speedy deletion criteria. Can you tell me how a film qualifies for speedy deletion under CSD#A7? Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 15:07, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Huggle problem
In this revision you attempted to warn a user about a page that was being submitted for speedy deletion, but the Huggle template did not display the message properly. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 16:30, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2008-01-09 List of characters in the Firefly universe
You can close that case. No-one but an IP makes a fuzz over the redirects anymore. – sgeureka t•c 22:14, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
Why did you delete the page??????????
Hey, are you crazy or what? You say you deleted the page about the Japanese movie A tale of Mari and three puppies because it was about a web site?? What's wrong with linking a movie article to the official web site of the movie? This movie was the greatest hit in Japan in 2007. Maybe you are racist and because you don't know a movie which didn't come out in your country yet, you just abuse your admin priviledges to delete an article you don't like. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AugustinMa (talk • contribs) 11:01, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I need graphics editing help
I noticed you are listed to help people in designing their user pages.
Well, I need help with a similar type of thing - graphics editing.
I'm preparing to coordinate this: and for it I'm developing some awards. Each award will include an image, and that's where I need help...I've got to have all the awards done by July 15th, and I don't even have the first one finished yet.
I'm looking for someone who knows how (or is interested in jumping in and learning how) to work on images in xcf format using GIMP, or Inkscape, etc. (Because I and others will need to be able to edit each image's layers after you are done with it).
If this sounds like something you are interested in helping with, please drop me a note.
By the way, both GIMP and Inkscape are free, making it easy to get started from scratch.
I look forward to your reply.

I just wanna say...
Thanks. If I hadn't found your "Isn't this where...we came in?" thing I would have never found out about The Wall and therefore never gotten into pink floyd. Again, thanks.
Cheers,

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Hurleylost.PNG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Hurleylost.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 11:23, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

It was a completely justified edit. I added who the referee of that match would be. I did make a mistake in not making an edit comment but the edit was completely justified. I have now added the match results etc. Ssiww (talk) 12:32, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Intelligent design RfC
You've been named as an involved party at this RfAR. As an outcome, User:Gnixon/Intelligent design RfC provides a Workspace, with discussion at User talk:Gnixon/Intelligent design RfC which I've started off with ideas for a basis to formulate the RfC. We also must try to resolve the dispute and as a first step my suggestion is developing guidelines or procedures aimed improving behaviour from now on, so that the desired outcomes can be achieved amicably. Your assistance and comments will be much appreciated. . . dave souza, talk 13:55, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Secret Combination the Album
I have moved it back to "Secret Combination the Album" as it is the right and official name of the CD. It is the way it is published on the CD, her record label and site, as well as IFPI. The "the Album" is not just added to the end because there is a CD single of the same name, but because it is actually part of the title of the album. There was a mistake when moving it back, and I accidentally moved it to "the album" (not capitalized), so I have requested an admin to capitalize it. Greekboy (talk) 01:20, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Fiction
Please revert yourself on that. Let's just let it go. Fussing with that hybrid set of tags is just going to perpetuate a new conflict. --Kevin Murray (talk) 00:49, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Please don't threaten -- that's not called for. I'm not forum shopping; I'm asking like minded participants to back the right and clear application of policy. --Kevin Murray (talk) 02:00, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
