From [[January 2006]] to [[August 2006]] I was an [[WP:ADMIN|administrator]] of Wikipedia. Since [[January 2008]], I have had the ability to possess the [[WP:NAR|automatic rollback ability]]. I'm also a member of [[WP:MEDCAB|the Mediation Cabal]], but I take cases very rarely.
 
I have over [http://tools.wikimedia.de/~interiot/cgi-bin/count_edits?user=Sceptre&dbname=enwiki_p {{/contrib}}000 edits]. As of [[11 March]] [[2008]], I am 248th on [[WP:List of Wikipedians by number of edits|List of Wikipedians by number of edits]]. My [[WP:AYAWH|wikiholic]] score is 18528, as of [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Are_You_a_Wikipediholic_Test&oldid=174211397 revision 174211397]. I also run a [[User:Scepbot|bot]], which sporiadically does tasks too tedious for the human hand.
 
I also have accounts on the [[Wikimedia Commons|Commons]] and on [[Wikiquote]], although I edit the former very infrequently and sporadically edit the latter.
 
I value the quality of Wikipedia articles over the quantity. I support merging related articles that aren't particularly good, and deleting articles that violate policies and guidelines. If someone suggests that content in areas I'm active in is of a low quality, I will attempt to fix it, but will not be stubborn to fight if it can't be.
 
With regards to my actions, I '''[[WP:IAR|do what I think is best for the encyclopedia]]'''. This means that I will ignore policies if they hinder progress and that I will, on occasion, do something unorthodox, such as remove nearly the entire content of a page that's very badly written. You may sometimes see me use the words ''fuck'' or ''shit'', or see me explicitly label and close troll threads on the administrators' noticeboard. Most of these viewpoints, in particular my deletionism, are influenced by the departed user [[User:Elaragirl|Elaragirl]], who had [[User:Elaragirl/wpphil|similar philosophies to me]], and whose blunt dedication in making the project better was admirable.
 
If you like any aspect of this design, take it. Most of the page is taken from the [[Template:Box portal skeleton|Portal skeleton]]. The small links were inspired by [[User:Kyoko|Kyoko]], and the icons at the top were inspired by [[User:Riana|Riana]]. Conversely, I am always available to do a userpage redesign for you if you ask.
