[edit] Merged contents from Stage picture

In accordance with WP:BOLD, I have merged the contents from the above page, which I judge to be very similar to, or to be a subtle variation of Scenic design. Ohconfucius 04:27, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

I personally have never heard the term "stage picture," but from what it sounds like by reading the old article, it incorporates more than just scenic design into what it is. While I I applaud your attempt at being bold, I think it was borderline reckless. When it comes to merging articles you should propose a merger as per merging and moving pages and then people who are knowledgable about what that article is about can then weigh in on if it should be merged with this article. If noone said anything after a few days, then you should be been bold and merge the two together. Just my two cents. --Lekogm 05:14, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

the insertion of the insertion of the "drmatists guild" comments about "Stage Picture" into this article seems clumsy and to be frank just a little pointless. It's sat right in-between two paragraphs that server to illustrate how scenic design is different in other parts of the world. MDpaling

[edit] Literature

Hello!

I'm looking for literature on scenic design - especially concerning design and current tendencies and developments. Historic views are not so much of interest to me. Many thanks in advance!
