IMDb profile |
Scenes From Oblivion is a no budget punk film written and directed by Michael Cuenca, starring Jennifer Baute as punk rocker Misha Bravo and Lou Wright as conservative Tommy Buscavida. The premise takes place during no specific time period, over the span of three days, and in the fictional town of Holwenstall.
The film is largely influenced by New York’s No Wave Cinema and the French New Wave of the ‘60s. It employs a unique storytelling format told through a fractured, nonlinear narrative depicting Misha’s perspective in color and Tommy’s in black and white.
