[edit] Meat puppet?

I don't mind if you oppose my ArbCom candidacy, but I'm surprised to be accused of meat puppetry. I've never been accused of that before. May I ask who the other puppets are? -Will Beback · · 02:11, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding edits made to Self-censorship

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Scandum! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule bannedmagazine\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 09:18, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

I am sorry. The link got spammed, and therefore edits of that account get reverted and it has resulted in the page being blacklisted. Moreover the link that the page gets added to already contains a linkfarm, and I wonder if the site complies with WP:EL. The site may be an excelent choice, but please use it as a reference then. I will consider whitelisting after examining the site. --Dirk Beetstra T C 09:23, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
I had a closer look. The link got linkspammed by a couple of IP's (range probably, they are very close), and a user-account in the last 24 hours. There are at the moment no links to bannedmagazine at all in mainspace (I can not exclude that mainspace got cleaned of the link, but I expect there were no links before the linkspam started). I am sorry, I will leave it on the blacklist for a couple of days, unless we see that it gets used as a reference a couple of times (please poke me if we forget and you think it is necessary to use it as a reference). The link does not belong in external link sections (only on the page Banned Magazine, probably; I see that that subject has not been deemed notable enough to be a wikipedia page, yet), and certainly not to the top level page (it might be appropriate to link to a page on the site that is symmetrically linked to the subject, but then it is probably better to use it as a reference). Hope this explains. Regards and hope to see you around. --Dirk Beetstra T C 10:19, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
