[edit] Point of View
Also, Scary Movie 3, unlike the two Scary Movies before it, was rated PG-13 instead of R, as it was alot less bloody, with less profane language, and no nudity, thus making it a more generally liked movie than its predecessors.
That is a big POV problem. I personally do not think that SM 3 is better than 1 or 2, so how can that be included as if it were fact. Even the qualifier "generally" doesn't save the sweeping statements made.
- "Other fans complained about the fact that the director was David Zucker rather than the Wayans Brothers." There's a bunch of POV in the article, since I had thought that fans were happy to see the Wayans brothers go and David Zucker of The Naked Gun brought it. The problem is this page lacks sources. Otherwise, that whole section is one giant POV. --Ataricodfish 21:51, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

- I thought so too. I'm going to remove the critics section until sources can be supplied and it can be rewritten with NPOV. PrometheusX303 20:03, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

- Isn't sourcing such a section kind of hard? I think it's pretty obvious that changing of directors midway through a series would meet resistance from some people. I like the change myself but have heard others who don't like the change. Why not just revise the content to sound non POV?--Iamstillhiro1112 14:19, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cody
Who is Cody played by? He's not in the CAST section of the article... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.11.15.120 (talk) 20:58, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Centerfold Trivia
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the three women that appear in Charlie Sheen's bed in the opening scenes of the fourth Scary Movie all Playboy centerfolds (or rather, were at one point)? If so, wouldn't that negate this bit of trivia? 75.2.9.203 16:20, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
- I think that's the only one to include those 3 supermodels specifically. Although I don't find it noteworthy myself. --Iamstillhiro1112 14:22, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Parodies
I removed the statement that the movie parodies Anchorman, since Anchorman was not even released until nearly a year later.--71.213.95.25 04:48, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Quotes?
Isn't it a bit too much, including movie quotes? It's the first film article I've seen this way. Rotring 22:09, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Some others have them, too, as well as some television shows. I think they should be moved to WikiQuote or somewhere else. Prometheus-X303- 22:34, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Halloween Music
Isn't the theme tune from Halloween in the film? When Cindy is parking her car, then getting out ready to collect Cody from school. Should I add Halloween to the Parodie's section? AquafireGal 11:22, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Scary-movie-3-poster-3.jpg
Image:Scary-movie-3-poster-3.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:50, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] extended plot

in adition who the hell ends an unfinished article with to be continued
That is a rubbish plot summary, it needs to be rewritten, badly. Wrathchild13 17:17, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Controversy
Should someone include the controversy caused by its PG-13 rating, and loss of fanbase because of said reason? I think that's important, because a significant amount of Scary Movie fans were lost. C. Pineda 09:46, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Unfinished Synopsis
Someone seriously needs to finish and shorten the synopsis —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.16.97.49 (talk) 02:50, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Parody
The scene where the news presenter is reading nonsense from the teleprompter reminded me of Bruce Almighty. Is this an official parody? — AnemoneProjectors (会話) 22:37, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Not sure, according to the directors commentary for Scary Movie 3, the Bruce Almighty style scene had been scripted and shot before Bruce Almighty had been released. Both movies were released within months of each other, and if the scene was inspired by Bruce Almighty, it would have been rushed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.195.42.197 (talk) 14:25, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] List of parodies
Please discuss here regarding whether parody lists should be included in Scary Movie and its sequels. Ward3001 (talk) 22:03, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] How is Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy being pardodied?
I noticed Anchorman on the list of parodies. How is Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy being pardodied? Scary Movie 3 came out in 2003, and Anchorman came out a year later in 2004. Pre-parody? Antmusic (talk) 16:30, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
