[edit] 0.1 mm precipitation

Requested source for the statement regarding 0.1 mm of precipitation. Also, is 0.1 mm actually measured? I've heard of 1 mm measurements and 0.01 inch (.254 mm) measurements, but was not aware that 0.1 mm was measured. I'm just curious. Thanks. Ufwuct 01:55, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

The Norwegian Meteorological Institute uses this - 0.1mm precipitation - as a threshold: If there is at least 0.1mm precipitation, then the day is recorded as nedbørdøgn - a day with precipitation. Source: look here at met.no. Orcaborealis 07:05, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
