Scarem is the name of a fictional character from the Beast Wars Transformers toy line.

Scarem tech specs say he resulted from Megatron's cloning experiments. His only appearance in fiction, however, contradicts this, saying he was a Maximal turned into a Predacon by Magamtron. He is very aggressive and dangerous.

Scarem's stasis pod was presumably among those who were launched into orbit around prehistoric Earth in the Beast Wars series pilot.

Scarem finally made his first official appearance in the 2006 IDW Beast Wars comic, where it was revealed he was a Maximal protoform from the Axalon who was infected with a Predacon shell program by Magmatron.
