The Scaly-crowned Babbler (Malacopteron cinereum) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is found in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
