Ed, Edd n Eddy: Scam of the Century is an action game developed and published by D3 Publisher America for the Nintendo DS handheld console. The game is based on the popular, long-running Cartoon Network series, Ed, Edd n Eddy. In the game, the Eds run the risk of having their scams turned on them by the other kids in the neighborhood. Many of the objects and characters, as well as the visual style, borrow heavily from the cartoon.

[edit] Gameplay
Each Ed has his own set of levels to complete. They're all side-scrolling fare, but each Ed has his own style of movement and attacks - Edd, for example, throws dictionaries, while Ed slams his head down on the enemies, while Eddy spits gum at enemies (Although this freezes the enemy, it does not defeat them). Item pick-ups can be activated on the touch-screen.
On top of the platforming elements, the game contains a number of unlockable minigames: Whack-a-Mole has been turned into "Whack a Zit" where players tap at rising pimples on Ed's back before they burst. There's also a pie-throwing challenge where players flick the desserts up at enemies on the top screen.[1] The game features 13 total stages, special attacks using the touch screen, the option to blow into the microphone to bring characters back to life, three side story mini-games and special items.[2]
The game was released on October 23, 2007 in the United States. The European release date was within that same month.[3]
[edit] Plot
The Eds are walking home and Eddy realizes there is a hole in his backpack. Now he has lost his Who-to-scam-and-when book. The kids have found it and they want revenge for all the scams.
Players take control of the Eds and must make their way through tricks, traps, angry kids and a barrage of projectiles including soap and broccoli. Ed, Edd, and Eddy finally make their way back to the cul-de-sac only to find that Rolf has built a giant fort to keep the Eds out forever. Each Ed must use his own special talent to smash, brainstorm or scam his way inside. Once inside the fort, the Eds regroup to reclaim Eddy's scam book. Standing in their way is Captain Melonhead (Jonny) and Splinter The Wonderwood (Plank). After the credits, a cutscene reveals that the entire game was a scam, and that the kids had to pay to be in the game. Edd points out that it was not needed, since the kids would have had to be in the game to begin with. Enraged, the kids attack and the Eds run away.
