It is not an advantage to store (and export via copy and paste) Old McDonald (McDonald) as Old McDONALD
, because that’s not the orthographically correct form of the name. Template:Smallcaps does it right.
Besides, I like small caps when done correctly, but with most fonts and most browsers that does not yet happen – they simply automatically scale down uppercase glyphs – and so it looks ugly. Therefore I wouldn’t support their recommendation by WP:MOS (yet). — Christoph Päper (talk) 20:05, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
