SC Naumburg Naumburg SC was a German football club that played in Naumburg, Saxony-Anhalt. The club was the first formed in the city, although the date of its founding is uncertain. Naumburg SC is notable only as a founding member of the DFB (Deutscher Fussball Bund or German Football Association) at Leipzig in 1900 as it disappeared from the German football scene early on when the club was dissolved in 1908.

Some more informations about "SC Naumburg". I found them in the DFB-Jahrbuch (DFB-Yearbook) 1904/05. All informations mean the year 1905/06.

SC Naumburg was founded september 29. 1899 The Club only played association-football The ground of the Club was named "Vogelwiese" (that means: meadow of birds) The club's colours were black and white The club had 22 members The Club was member of the Verband Mitteldeutscher Ballspiel-Vereine (VMBV) (and DFB)

I hope, someone else can add these informations to the text of "SC Naumburg". Unfortunately my english is - as everybody can read - not good enough. W. M. L. from Dortmund/Germany
