SC Cambuur Leeuwarden, formed on June 19, 1964, is a Dutch football club, currently playing in the Eerste Divisie. The club's home ground is the 10,000 seater Cambuur Stadion and they play in yellow shirts and blue shorts. The club's emblem originates from the coat of arms of the House of Cammingha, a Dutch noble family.

One fan group is The M.I.-Side who stand on the South and North stands at Cambuur Stadion. The name comes from the streets where the stands are built: "M" for the Marathonstraat and "I" for the Insulindestraat.[citation needed]

The biggest rivalalry is with SC Heerenveen. It has now been some years since the last true Derby van het Noorden (Derby of the North) was played.[citation needed]
