About your specific concerns:

Calling the Oiler players 'Legends' while not giving a similar tag to the Flames leaders,

Then add a descriptor like “leaders”, “greats”, “favourites”, “stars” etc. OR we can agree to drop all such tags because they too easily become POV, and instead mention only measurable things like points, goals, who was the captain, who was the team’s leading scorers, who won MVP and other awards, who has had their number retired, and (in my opinion most important) who is in the Hall of Fame.

or saying the 1986 series win was a 'moral victory', it does a disservice to both the Flames and the rivalry in general.The Oilers won more Cups, but don't forget that almost every time they did so they had to go through the Flames.

I think the way it is written now does put too much emphasis on Cup wins, whereas the article is really supposed to be more about the rivalry between these two specific teams. I think it should mention more in detail the results of their specific playoff meetings, and most important the all time record in both the regular season and playoffs. That being said the number of Cup win is the ultimate marker of success and something important to the fans, so it should be mentioned too. We shouldn’t remove that info, simply add more context by talking about the historical matchups instead.

Really, what you had were two very evenly matched teams where Gretzky was the difference.

Thanks for your addition to the article. I was thinking of doing this some time ago myself. Would you also be able to provide references for each of them (inline with their listing in the article)?
