I am against all POV pushing on Wikipedia. Only way to improve this situation is to enforce WP:ATTon all editors. If you can not find an acceptable source, it does not belong on Wikipedia. After implementing WP:ATT, next step is to enforce WP:NPOVand WP:UNDUE. I believe this is only way to improve quality of controversial topics.
