History
OneNeck was founded in 1997 by Chuck Vermillion, the company’s current chief executive officer. The name “OneNeck” was selected to convey the company’s philosophy of total solutions with accountability.1
In September 2007, the company reported 10 years of profitability and disclosed approximately 90% of its revenue is derived from long-term contracts.2
During its history, OneNeck completed two acquisitions: In September, 2003, it acquired the assets of Virtual ESI Corporation, a JD Edwards outsourcing and consulting business; and in February 2007, it acquired Delinea Corporation, an information technology services company providing Oracle ERP outsourcing and utilities consulting services.3
OneNeck received a $12.8 million equity investment in June 2005 led by WestView Capital Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm targeting lower middle market companies.4
The company was ranked the Number One ERP Management Outsourcer by the “Black Book of Outsourcing” in 2006 and 2007. The independent survey, conducted by the Brown-Wilson Group, received feedback in 2007 from over 21,000 outsourcing users and decision makers globally to determine the top vendors. The study represents only unbiased, audited ranking results of outsourcing vendors worldwide.5
OneNeck ranked 3rd in Arizona Business Magazine’s Ranking Arizona: The Best of Arizona Business 2008 in the Computer Consulting Firms category. As the largest business opinion poll in Arizona, Ranking Arizona solicits the general public to vote on business and leisure activities of Arizona’s business professionals.6
In April 2006, OneNeck was selected the Vendor of the Year for Skanska USA Building Inc.,7 and in November 2005 the company was named to bizAZ Magazine’s 2005 Hot Growth list, a ranking of Arizona’s 10 fastest growing companies.8
