Savio Rail Tunnel

Savio Rail Tunnel connects Vuosaari harbour in Helsinki to the main railroad line in Kerava. The tunnel is planned to be 13.5 km long and will have a single railroad track. Construction begun in 2004, and boring was completed in September 2006. The tunnel is planned to be complete by 2008.
