Savignano sul Panaro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 25 km west of Bologna and about 20 km southeast of Modena. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,746 and an area of 25.4 km².[1]
