Coordinates: Savda is a city and a municipal council in Jalgaon district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Savda is located at [1]. It has an average elevation of 231 metres (757 feet). Savda is famous for bananas and is a major source of supply to northern India, mainly to Delhi.
The railway station is around 3 km from the main township. It is connected to New Delhi by the Amritsar-Dadar Express. In town there are banks, post office, etc. The major efforts for attracting trains and banks were made by the late Shri Ram Lal Chawla who is still remembered by the community.

At the 2001 India census[2], Savda had a population of 19,331. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Savda has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 65%. In Savda, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
