Saval Beg Stakes

The Saval Beg Stakes is a Listed flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for four-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 1 mile 6 furlongs (2,816 metres) at Leopardstown Racecourse in May.
It has been run over the present distance since 1992, having been run at 1 mile 5 furlongs (2,615 metres) in 1991, and 2 miles (3,219 metres) beforehand. Three-year-olds were eligible to run from 1993 to 2005.
