Saurashtrian Pidgin

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Saurashtrian Pidgin is a language which evolved in the community of people who migrated from the Saurashtra region of the Indian state of Gujarat to places like Madurai and Kumbakonam in Tamilnadu. Although it has a lot of loan words from Tamil mixed with Gujarati, it is believed that this has evolved into a full-fledged language in itself.
