Saunder's Vlei Rat (Otomys saundersiae) is a species of rodent in the Muridae family. It is found only in South Africa. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, and subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland.
