[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:FINAL PALADOR LOGO(2).jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:FINAL PALADOR LOGO(2).jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:FINAL PALADOR LOGO(2).jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:FINAL PALADOR LOGO(2).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 04:41, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] March 2008

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Film. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. [edit] Conflict of interest

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Palador Pictures, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. Prolog (talk) 17:01, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Also, Wikipedia is a free content project, and you have uploaded several images with fraudulent source, author and license information. In addition to the external link spamming, your addition of these DVD cover images to articles can also be considered a form of spamming. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a platform for advertising. Prolog (talk) 17:01, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

The note you added to your user page should work. While editing with a conflict of interest is generally discouraged, if you think you can make your contributions more neutral or do some referencing from reliable sources, go ahead and improve the article. Although the article is tagged now, it might take a while before other editors clean it up. I'm not gonna jump in yet. You can modify your e-mail settings by clicking "preferences", but unfortunately there is no way to get messages left on your user talk page directly to your e-mail. You can send others e-mail by clicking "e-mail this user" , however, but on-wiki discussion is usually preferred. Thanks, Prolog (talk) 21:55, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

I have done a bit of cleanup per our Manual of Style and removed one of the two DVD covers as "decorative" fair use, which is not allowed. However, one cover image should meet the policy on non-free content. Even with those references, Gautam Shiknis does not meet Wikipedia's notability requirements, so this article needs to be turned back into a redirect or nominated for deletion. [edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 15:22, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
