[edit] Similar Vehicles

I think it's a mistake to call the Ford Explorer, Toyota Forerunner, and Nissan Pathfinder similar vehicles. All of those are true truck based SUV's, not "crossovers.". This group of vehicles from GM is being compared more to other car based SUV's like the Toyota Highlander as reflected in the prior edition of this page. Ultimate ed 18:09, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

They were later changed to full-size SUVs. I changed the list to mid-size crossover SUVs. Truck-based SUVs shouldn't be compared with car-based crossover SUVs no matter large they are. I didn't add the Toyota Highlander because the current gen is smaller than these new models; the next gen should be more similar. --Vossanova o< 17:59, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wagon or CUV?

OK, I thought the Outlook was a CUV, but I read my newspaper's automotive section today and it called the Outlook a full-size wagon. Which is correct? Should I change the article?

I think the automakers have pretty much killed off any kind of reference to wagon (as in Station Wagon). I expect it will be marketed as a CUV. When it really comes down to it, everything from this, to a Ford Freestyle to a Lexus RX are really just jacked up station wagons, but nobody wants to call them that. It is considered a CUVUltimate ed 19:09, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
