Satoshi Motoyama

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Satoshi Motoyama (本山哲 - Motoyama Satoshi; born March 4, 1971) is a Japanese car driver.

[edit] Career

Motoyama was born in Tokyo.

He gathered an impressive resumé of results in his native country, winning the Formula Nippon championship in 1998, 2001, 2003, and 2005. He also competes in the Japan GT Championship and won that series title co-driving with British driver Richard Lyons in 2004. The closest he has come to Formula 1, however, was a Friday test for Jordan at the 2003 Japanese Grand Prix, and a pre-season test session with Renault in 2004.
