Satoru Nishita

A landscape architect, born July 4, 1927, Satoru Nishita was one of the partners of the architectural firm Lawrence Halprin & Associates. He has worked on several projects in the United States and Japan, including the Lovejoy Fountain and the Ira Keller Fountain, both in Portland. He is close friends with Lawrence Halprin, a co-founder of the company.
