Satellite Telecommunications Network (STN), is a DVB-S satellite communications company based in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

STN was founded in July 2004 with the goal of becoming one of leading broadcast-over-satellite provider for Hot Bird 6, W2, Hellas Sat 2, TelStar 12, Intelsat-10, Atlantic Bird 1, AMC-4 and other satellites.

STN’s Head Quarters is based in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. STN offers a wide range of Global solutions, including TV consulting services and uplink to more than ten different satellites in C-, Ku- and K-band. STN has state-of-the-art playout facilities in SD and HD formats. STN customers range from various private television stations to public television corporations as well as radio stations.

STN is fully equipped to broadcast and receive signals in either PAL or NTSC video standards. The transmission can be done in MPEG-2 and/or MPEG-4, DVB-S or DVB-S2 modulation.

STN have a 24/7/365 monitoring of all video and audio signals. Monitoring is performed through automated probes and analyzers, combined with 24/7/365 on-site personnel to ensure that the customer's signal has a continuous uninterrupted and error free broadcast.
