Satan Watching the Endearments of Adam and Eve

Satan Watching the Endearments of Adam and Eve by William Blake was an illustration to Milton's "Paradise Lost". Completed in 1808, it currently hangs in the British Museum, London.

The drawing depicts Satan being enveloped and caressing a snake, while hovering over an Adam and Eve who are kissing.
