Satan is the first single released off the debut album Young and Restless by Young and Restless. Singer Karina Utomo has stated the song is about peer pressure among teenagers, while guitarist Ashley Pegram has stated the song is merely poking fun at the two genres that were big at the time (dance and hardcore), the song was later re-recorded for the album.
