Description |
McIDAS GOES 12 satellite image showing intense lake effect bands of snow originating over the Great Lakes and crossing Southern Ontario, Michigan, Ohio and New York states. A dominant single band is visible at a diagonal angle towards the center of the image, this band effected Toronto and many of its northern suburbs dropping 15 to 30 centimeters of snow and producing blinding visibilities on highways 400, 404 and 401. |
