[edit] Flugpo
A tag has been placed on Flugpo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Shadowlynk (Talk) 04:54, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Flugpo
I hope you don't mind. I went ahead and deleted the Flugpo page on your user talk page, and cleaned it up on your main user page. - JNighthawk 09:06, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
That's great, I appreciate your help! Saracity123 03:46, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- The article looks like it would be immediately deleted for lack of notability of the company. --Orange Mike 01:55, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia policies
Please be aware of our policies about conflict of interest. We need contributors who are here to edit articles on all sorts of topics, and are not interested in what are referred to as "Single Purpose Accounts", especially usernames created to publicize or advocate a particular person, idea or concept. --Orange Mike 02:01, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- As I had mentioned I am still working on this page and am open to suggestions. I am new to writing for Wikipedia, however, am further researching Wikipedia and its policies. I strongly feel that with the intentions I have, there is no reason for deletion but rather it is appropriate to guide contributors toward successful articles. AS I did express I was writing about a website in this article, I have not mentioned that this would be my only one. I am focusing on this one page for now until I have gained a better idea of Wikipedia.Saracity123 03:48, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ignore Mike. There's nothing wrong with Single Purpose Accounts. What he linked you to is not a Wikipedia policy or guideline. Edit what you like, even if it's just one page. We need all the help we can get :-) - JNighthawk 00:10, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Moved Flugpo
I've moved your proposed article on Flugpo here. Generally, you want to put articles you want into a "sandbox" page, which can be stored in your User space, like putting a file in a folder. That way, your User page is kept just for information about yourself, and the article can be judged on its own. If you want more help with this article, please leave a message on my Talk page and I'll see what I can do! -- Kesh 23:35, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked for nothing but spamming
I have blocked this account indefinitely. It had no contributions other than attempts at spam. Chick Bowen 20:24, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
