Beeny has received criticism for never mentioning tax when discussing profits. In the UK, Capital Gains Tax is 40%, and in many years of broadcasting Beeny has never been heard to mention it. She constantly mentions all financial risks, charges and penalties surrounding investments in renovations but never liabilities on profits payable to HM Revenue. 86.17.211.191 21:48, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cold Sores

sarah can be often seen sporting a cold sore on her lower lip in the episodes of Property Ladder - it is often joked that she is giving birth to a giant cold sore (as she appears to always be pregnant during the episodes).
