[edit] Publication Information

I'd like to start creating pages for the remaining books in the Axis Trilogy and the books in the Wayfarer Redemption Trilogy, but unfortunately, I don't know where to find the publication information for the first editions of the novels published in Australia. Without this information, I won't even be able to make a proper infobox, so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction? There's no Amazon Australia as there is an Amazon UK, but perhaps someone knows of an Australian online retailer with extensive information on the books they sell...

(I could create complete infoboxes for the US editions of the novels, but I've run into this issue before, and by now I know to stick to the original publications).

Thanks for your help, Runch 03:54, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Runch:

Original pub data for BattleAxe is: published by HarperCollinsAustralia, 1995, ISBN 0 7322 5119 2. Having a dismal cover(!) HarperCollinsAustralia re-issued the book with a different cover later that year. ISBN 0 7322 5865 0 The page on BattleAxe does NOT show the original cover - that is the reissued edition, it is not the first edition ... if I knew how to pop an image in here then I would ... let me see if I can figure this out ... Ah ... can't get an image in here, help pages no help - here is the URL to the original (and now very rare) Edition of battleAxe.

Enchanter, same publisher, first edition issued 1996, ISBN 0 7322 5129 X

HCAustralia has published all the original Axis books, as all the other first editions (apart from "the Betrayal of Arthur", which was published by PanMacmillan Australia). If you contact them they can give you details, I am sure: 25 Ryde Road, Pymble, NSW, 2073, Australia, or you could visit the forums at the Australian Voyager website where others might fill you in on the rest of the details. If you still can't find info post dilemma here and I'll try to sort through my books for you.

Thanks a bunch! Due to a busy schedule, I probably won't get around to writing those pages for a while, but your information should prove to be a great help. - Runch 16:36, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
