Sargis Baghdasaryan

Sarghis Baghdasaryan, also transliterated Baghdasarian (September 5, 1923 - June 19, 2001), was an Armenian sculptor; under the Soviet regime, he was the national sculptor of the Armenian SSR.

He is perhaps best known for his 1967 work We Are Our Mountains, a monument carved into the tuff outside Stepanakert.
