Sarangapani Temple is a place of worship, dedicated to Vishnu as the Supreme God of the Vaishnava traditions of Hinduism.
It lies in the Tanjore district of Tamil Nadu. It's about 1 1/2 miles away from Kumbakonam railway station. Which is on the Chennai - Tanjore main line. Bus facility and staying facilities are ample. It is one of the 108 Divya Desams. [1]. This temple is along Kaveri and is one of the Pancharanga Kshetrams[2].
