Saran, Loiret

Saran is a commune of the Loiret département in France. Population (2004): 15,053. Saran is a dynamic city that has, compared to its size, many sports facilities including two stadiums, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, one swimming pool and four gymnasiums. This is due to the policy conducted by the communist mayor of Saran, Michel Guérin, that gives primary importance to culture and sport.
