Sarakhs was formed in 1999 in Tehran by Yuri on Drums, his brother Peter on Bass and Behzad Khiavchi as vocalist. They record their frist album Az Khak in BAM studio during 1999-2000 but never released officially, Mordab is one of the well-known song form this album which was chosen for Underground Music Competition in 2003 held by Tehran Avenue Music Festival (TAMF) and placed 4th in the competition. They are planing to release this album in late 2007.
The second album Mordad 85 was recorded live in Aftab e Alamtab studio and released on July 7th 2007 by Bamahang Productions. The lyrics on this album have a general theme of dealing with love and relationships[1].
