Sarah Walsh

Sarah Walsh is an Australian football (soccer) player, who plays for the Matildas. She scored the first goal in Australia's opening 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup match against Ghana. She's one of five players short-listed for the 2007 AFC Women's Asian Player of the Year.

She's famous for her extensive knowledge of Haitian nationality as well as her penchant for writing concise and well thought out reading responses.[citation needed]

Walsh has signed for Pali Blues in the American W-League for 2008.[1]
