[edit] Fictional character biography

Sarah is Suzanne's friend and is currently a teacher in secondary school. When Suzanne first introduced Sarah to her family, she spent nights partying and was intrigued to learn that Suzanne was having an affair with her college lecturer. When Suzanne dumped him for cheating her, Sarah stepped in and became his new mistress. After graduating from college, Sarah broke up with the lecturer and became a teacher.

In 2006 Sarah met Rory Goff, an undercover Garda, in Carol's Club. He tricked her into believing that he had got a job there, so he could write a book about drugs in nightclubs. Rory's real intention was to fool Sylvester Garrigan into thinking he was in a relationship with Sarah, so he could gather evidence against the crime boss.

Rory actually had a wife and a daughter from a previous marriage. Suzanne found out about this while taking Oisin to a bowling alley. A furious Sarah confronted Rory about this, but he manipulated her into forgetting about it. Sarah's father warned her that Garrigan is a notorious crime boss. When Rory began an affair with Carol Meehan to get information, he completely ignored Sarah. A frustrated Sarah eventually had suspicions of Rory having an affair when she saw him enter Carol's house at night. Rory, of course, denied that he had an affair with Carol, and Sarah seemingly believed him.

In 2007, Sarah was caught up in another scenario when Mark Halpin was being intimidated by two bullies named Tom and Doug. A terrified Mark was forced to do their homework for one day. Unfortunately, although Mark managed to finish Tom and Doug's homework, he was unable to finish his own, drawing him into conflict with Sarah. Since he was sitting next to the bullies, a terrified Mark decided not to inform Sarah about the bullying and Sarah berated him for not doing his homework. A worried Damien told Sarah about the bullying. The school principal, Kieran, warned Tom and Doug that he doesn't tolerate bullying. The website was banned from the school computers and the bullies were given detention.

After learning the robes from his coach Gerry, Mark confronted Tom and Doug outside McCoys at night. Angered that they were preparing to bully him again, Mark punched Doug in the nose, just as Suzanne and Sarah approached the pub! When Mark established his own fight club and chose students his own age to fight with in a dip at school, Kieran and Sarah became suspicious of fights being held at school, and sent letters to parents and guardians, warning them about the fights. Mark eventually fought Gina's son Sean. When his friend Pat told Sarah and Kieran about the arranged fight, they ran to the arena just as the club members ran away.

Sean survived the attack and Mark realised the error of his ways. Sarah began a relationship with Brian Byrne, but this did not last long as she believed he still had feelinds for his ex.
