Sarah Morgan Bryan Piatt (born Lexington, Kentucky, 11 August 1836 - died 22 December 1919 in Caldwell, New Jersey) was an American poet.[1] During her career, she published some 450 poems across fifteen volumes and in leading periodicals of the day. Piatt's husband, John James Piatt, was also a poet, as well as a federal government employee, eventually serving as an American Consul in Ireland.
