Sarah Baldock

Sarah Baldock is an English Cathedral organist. She is married to counter-tenor David Hurley.

[edit] Education and early career
Baldock was educated as a music scholar at St Paul's Girls' School in London and then as organ scholar of Pembroke College, Cambridge. She was Organist in Residence at Tonbridge School in Kent and in 1998 recorded a solo CD on the Marcussen Organ.

[edit] Winchester
Baldock was appointed Assistant Director of Music at Winchester Cathedral and founded the Girls' Choir there in 1998.[1]
[edit] Chichester
In December 2007, she was appointed Organist and Master of the Choristers at Chichester Cathedral, replacing Alan Thurlow. She took up the post after Easter 2008, becoming only the second woman to hold the senior music post at a Church of England cathedral.[2]
