Description
English: Crossing the Sar Pass: It was the difficult time for the trekkers. Starting from Tila Lotani camp(12500 ft.) at 5 p.m. & crossing the Sar Pass by 11 a.m. after almost continuously walking on the snow. It was extremely difficult particularly at gradient slopes with solid snow, not giving much grip. One has to walk on others' footsteps & due to their repeated use, it was getting really slippery. Many trekkers had a lot of slips. Last streatch was extremely difficult with melting snow due to progressing of the day, low energy left & possibly low morale due to many slips. Shot taken during Sar Pass Trek in Kullu- Manali District of Himachal Pradesh, India.
