[edit] Pietro Perti/Peretti

I suppose, Giovanni Pietro Perti/Peretti (b. Muggio, 1648 - d. 1714, Vilnius) deserves his own article. Iulius 08:09, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sapiegos ligoninė

I'm not sure if the hospital is in the palace building itself. Rather in other buildings in the park, mostly from 19th century. --Lysytalk 08:43, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

I'm sure it is not. But it is in the territory of the ensemble and park.Iulius 08:50, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Do you know what is the current use/owner of the palace ? It looks rather abandoned. --Lysytalk 10:18, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
national property fund
I see. I think Slushko Palace is used by some kind of artistic school if I remember correctly. Maybe this is why it's in a bit better shape. --Lysytalk 12:48, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Picture of the palace

I do not have any better picture of Sapieha palace. The front view was obstructed by the trees and from either side it looks very ruined (from front as well). --Lysytalk 11:27, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

So what should be done then? I don't have it either ;) Iulius 11:31, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Some historical drawing or old photo ? --Lysytalk 12:33, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
There is one somewhere. and quite a nice one, but not necessary true to original. need to scan... will take some time.Iulius 12:56, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
I have a couple of reproductions of old photos by Jan Bułhak but they have copyright problems as the author died 56 years ago and his photos are still sold by ZPAF. --Lysytalk 13:25, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
I've put one - now it's your turn Iulius 13:29, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Well done. For the photos I will have to wait 14 years until 2020, when the copyright expires. --Lysytalk 13:52, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Title

Should we have the ".. in Vilnius" title in the beginning of the text - its clear anyway that it's Vilnius' palace? Iulius 17:12, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Indeed, it made the sentence sound awkward. --Lysytalk 17:40, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Arcades

A 19th century copy of Pietro Rossi drawing. Presumably Sapieha palace, although it is similar to Slushko Palace as well

Arcades - were they in the first floor only as seen in the picture? Iulius 18:31, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

No, they were multiple floors, but I don't know how many. --Lysytalk 19:02, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
However, it is not apparent from all images. Is that a true fact or an unassessed speculation by Klos? Iulius 05:21, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
Does not seem like a speculation, he seems quite firm abut this, but in fact they were not in the front but on the sides. I will add a reference for this in the article. --Lysytalk 17:49, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
