Coordinates: Sapatgram is a town and a town area committee in Dhubri district in the Indian state of Assam.

Sapatgram is located at [1]. It has an average elevation of 27 metres (88 feet). It is situated in the bank of the river Sankosh. Sapatgram bengali High School is the one of the old school in Assam , established prior to the independence in the year 1936.

As of 2001 India census[2], Sapatgram had a population of 12,046. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Sapatgram has an average literacy rate of 77%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 72%. In Sapatgram, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age. It has one bengali medium(estd.-1936), one assamese medium school, five primary schools and one college. It has one railway station also. The nearest airport is 20 km away from town
