Saparina Yelena

Saparina Yelena (born in 1931, also known as Elena Viktorovna Saparina) is a Russian writer. She was director of the magazine Znanie-Sila (Knowledge is Power). She published Cybernetics Within Us in 1966 — a book that talks about artificial intelligence as well as heuristics, biology, psychology, cybernetics, and bionics. She can explain complex problems easily. She teaches how AI Systems can be created using a simple computer language such as C or Pascal or TurboBasic. Ms. Elena us illustrates how entertaining it is possible to create a program or robot capable of performing complex tasks. This book will encourage us to perform experiments programming. So we can see if it is possible the existence of electronic entities that can learn. This book was written in 1962, at that time not existian personal computers, so it was impossible for researchers and engineers to create powerful software that perform complex tasks based on algorithms rather simple.
