SAO 50004 is an 8th magnitude star in the constellation Cygnus. It is a yellow subgiant star of the spectral type G0IV, meaning its surface temperature is around 6,000 kelvin. It is therefore bigger, brighter, and slightly hotter than our Sun.[1] It can be found within one degree of the star Deneb.[2]
